From October 13 to 17, 2025, OnePower Benin had the honor of participating in the African Microfinance Week (SAM 2025), organized by ADA, as an EVER (Energizing Ventures for Rural Impact) partner.
This edition, held at the KICC in Nairobi, brought together leading stakeholders in inclusive finance, energy access, and sustainable development from more than 60 countries.
Beyond the conferences, training workshops, and networking moments, we particularly valued the exchange of experiences among EVER actors from different countries, as well as the insightful meetings with microfinance institutions (MFIs).
These discussions opened concrete pathways to facilitate access to productive uses of energy in a more sustainable and inclusive way.
It was a week rich in learning, collaboration, and inspiration, reaffirming that energy and inclusive finance are two essential drivers in strengthening the impact of productive uses and supporting the sustainable development of our rural communities.
